Our small systems are designed for highly efficient small homes, cabins and other sites with relatively low power needs. Typical loads include lighting, computers, entertainment devices, small water pumps and efficient refrigerators. Our SolarNexus power centers combine pre-wired high quality off-grid power electronics, DC and AC rated circuit breakers and other high quality electrical components in a robust indoor enclosure. The SolarNexus makes it easy to install safer, more efficient and robust high quality off-grid solar electric systems.
The AC output of the SolarNexus 2.0 is 300 Watts continuously at 120V, 60Hz or 230V 50Hz. The first production run of the SolarNexus power center will be designed around the Morningstar SureSine300 inverters, but other small inverters could be used. The SureSine300 is the highest quality small sine-wave inverter currently produced. It is ruggedly built and designed for international rural electrification markets.
With the addition of a properly sized photovoltaic (PV) array and deep-cycle battery, the SolarNexus is the central wiring ‘hub’ of a complete off-grid solar electric system.
